Hawaii, a Cruise to Remember!

June 24th - July 1st 2017

We are pleased to announce that in support of our scholarship program, Hands for Haiti Club held a fundraising activity last month and collected $1,360. Hands for Haiti is a school-based club that has been in existence for about 4 years at The Newman School of Boston. The mission of this 15-member club is to raise funds in order to provide a better life for the poverty-stricken population of Haiti. The club hopes to change the lives of those who have lost so much in the 2010 devastating earthquake in Haiti.
On behalf of the executive board of Farehd, we would like to thank these young people as well as Mrs. Deanna Gallagher and her team who fully supported the activity.
This is the kind of signal that makes us strongly believe that a " New Haiti is truly still possible ".
Thanks a million, Hands for Haiti Club !
May the Lord keep blessing you !

The Power to Effect Change

help by donating today

At F.A.R.E.H.D. we are working to create hope and the opportunity for a better world.

But we can only do it with your help. Join with us in our mission and donate now.

The number of Haitians living abroad (the diaspora) is increasing faster and faster every day. While this is good for the individuals who have to leave because most of the time they are looking for a better future for their love ones, the country itself is suffering a lot from this situation. The future of Haiti seems to be outside. In an effort to encourage Haitians living abroad to do something for their mother land, Kenol Aris, MS, has founded this organization in 2009. Many friends, Haitians and non-Haitians who share the same belief are working very hard to make this dream come true. And because there is so much to do for the country, friends of Haiti regardless of their race, religion or social status and anyone who believes in helping others are also welcome to join the organization.

We truly believe that a new Haiti is still possible if we, Haitians, truly want it.

Vision Statement:

To become the voice of the Haitian community in the diaspora.
